You are a real estate agent in the city of Pordenton (a fictitious city). You are working with a young couple, Paul and Mira Garcia, who want to buy a house.
According to your notes from an initial conversation, they need a single-family house with at least three bedrooms. They want a relatively modern house (no older than 20 years) with a two-car garage. They can afford to pay in the upper $100,000's but no more than $225,000.
The Garcias would like their two young children to attend either Melvin Elementary School or Arnie Primary School. Ideally, the home would be located close to Terry Athletic Park, where one of the children frequently attends after-school athletic activities.
You have an appointment with the Garcias to tour houses of potential interest. Before you meet them, you need to find houses that meet their criteria and produce a map and a list to bring along.  You should print out some basic information about each of the homes you will visit. At a minimum you should include the address and asking price of each home, as well as a map showing their locations.

Follow the GIS analytical process to complete the problem.
  1. Define the problem
  2. Define the criteria
  3. Identify the data you need
  4. Plan the analysis
  5. Prepare the data for analysis
  6. Execute the analysis
  7. Examine and present the results

Email the TA when you are finished and include a link to your assignment.  Include a screen capture or pdf of the final result on your website.
