  1. Load the base map imagery for campus
  2. Create a new Geodatabase in ArcCatalog
  3. Create a new point-utilities, line-sidewalks, and polygon-buildings feature class
    • Create a feature template for each
    • Define attributes and default values (just 2-3 for each)
    • Digitize them
  4. Summarize in 1/2 to 1 page what you have learned about GIS (ArcGIS) from this exercise. Intended audience is your boss or a colleague.  Include a picture of your digitized map.  Be sure to include a Title, Legend, scale bar, and north arrow.
